I am passionate about boosting and amplifying neurodivergent young people.
What does it mean to be gifted,
twice-exceptional, or neurocomplex?
GIFTED:
Gifted children often demonstrate an advanced ability or potential in one or more specific areas compared to others of the same age, experience, or environment.

TWICE EXCEPTIONAL (2e):
Children who are gifted and also face learning or developmental challenges such as ADHD, Autism, or learning disabilities.
NEURODIVERSITY:
“Neurodiversity describes the idea that people experience and interact with the world around them in many different ways; there is no one "right" way of thinking, learning, and behaving, and differences are not viewed as deficits.”
NEUROCOMPLEX/ITY:
“The intersection of neurodivergent wiring that includes increased complexity in the areas of cognition, sensory receptivity, attention, creativity, and/or intuition.”
I know these young people have specific and focused needs that often are unaddressed. And that’s why Pattern Minds exists.
